(mom’s) ital soup
Ingredients
coconut milk
mustard oil
hot sesame oil
vegetable stock
garlic
chili
soy sauce
potatoes
baby corn
bok choy
lotus root
okra
Preparation
in a pot add stock, coconut milk, oils, garlic, and chili and bring to a simmer
add the potato and cook until soft (~10 minutes)
add bok choy
remove from heat
add soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste
Notes
a modification on the jamaican ital soup using whatever vegetables we have available
